From the pioneering vineyard in Sussex, Breaky Bottom lies in a fold in the South Downs, five miles from Lewes. Back in 1974, Peter Hall recognised the potential for grape-growing and winemaking in the UK and decided to tap into the increasing demand for clean, elegant, cool-climate wines.
This vintage is fresh with zingy lime citrus, fine mousse and long finish. We Love it!

Herbert Hall, Brut Rose 12% Alc Vol
Produced in the traditional Champagne method and are made from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Herbert Hall Brut Rosé uses a higher percentage of Pinot noir which adds softness to its hints of red fruit and short bread for an impeccably balanced taste. This is an excellent example of English sparkling wine at its best.

Vino dei Poeti Prosecco, Bottega 2015 Brut Sparkling 11% Alc Vol
This Brut sparkler is produced with Prosecco grapes harvested slightly earlier than usual to ensure good acidity and structure. Gently pressed and fermented at low temperature, the highly fragrant wine becomes a dry, sparkling wine following secondary fermentation.
Vino dei Poeti, literally “wine of the poets”, is named for an annual poets festival held in the hills that grow these prosecco grapes.

The vigorous Montepulciano grape (100%) is widely planted in the Abruzzi region of Italy, and produces, an excellent value for money wine. It has a vinous bouquet of berry fruits. Medium bodied, ripe, wild berry fruit flavours and a light tannic finish.

Bodega Luis Gurpegui Muga, Spain
This Crianza is a blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon that has been aged in American oak Barriques for 12 months and has benefited from a further 6 months in bottle. The resulting wine is balanced with ripe black cherry fruit softened by the hints of cedar wood. It will go perfectly with pasta dishes and roasts.

A Pinotage that shows lovely violet notes over brambly fruit, a medium-bodied wine with typical sweet berry flavours. Medium to full-bodied dry red wine with an approachable earthy and berry fruit aroma. Softly-styled in character with good wood integration.
Chateau La Tuilerie Du Puy 2013 13% Alc Vol

A perfect wine that is regularly selected by the most famous wine guides in France (Hachette, Dussert Gerber, Gilbert & Gaillard...).
Who says that Bordeaux wines must be expensive ?? The Château La Tuilerie du Puy is a perfect example for a Bordeaux Supérieur, pure, very well balanced and full of taste.
The impression in the mouth is extremely fine with soft tannins.The finish is fruity and very long. A real pleasure!
Minervois 2015 13.5% Alc Vol
Made from vineyards in the La Livinière village area, grown on clay and limestone soils that give a fullness to the wine. The Grenache are old bush vines very well adapted to the hot climate and minimal rainfall of this area which give a big, juicy flavours and to these are added 20% of Syrah grapes for added substance and aromatics.
Rioja Tinto Crianza 2013 13.5% Alc Vol
Vina Berceo, Spain
The grape variety Tempranillo excels in the Rioja area producing soft and seductive wines. This Bodega is owned by the Gurpegui family, whose wines are generally highly thought of. This Crianza has not been over oaked; instead the wine maker has allowed the natural quality of the fruit to shine through.

The low yields contribute to a wine that is both potent and brimming with ripe fruit character. Noult oak is used so the emphasis is on grape quality alone. The Mouvèdre and Sangiovese are used as seasoning to add both body and acidity to the finished wine. Heady and strong, a real winter warmer.

The Gamay grape finds it's home in France's Burgundy region where it is responsible for the red wines of Beaujolais. Producing light to medium bodied wines with modest tannins and good acidity, Gamay is unfairly associated with Beaujolais Nouveau. It is capable of producing wonderful, cherry and raspberry flavored wines with earthy hints of violets and spice. One of those rare red-wines to enjoy with fish.
Barbera d’Alba 2014, Pio Cesare 13.5% Alc Vol
Pio’s Barbera is a wine quite different from many other Barbera. This is because the Barbera grapes are grown alongside the Nebbiolo grapes. This, combined with the extensive barrel ageing, results in a wine with the strength and wild energy of a Barbera, but the refined elegance of Barolo. This is a unique Barbera—full and brave, yet soft and supple.
This wine has an intense ruby colour with garnet reflections. The bouquet is distinguished and vital, with fresh, ripe fruit. The palate is clear and definite, with hints of ripe pulpy fruit, cherry, and notes of chocolate, frame with a long and pleasant finish.
