High Beeches Woodland and Water Gardens in mid-Sussex is an historic, tranquil and beautiful garden covering some 29 acres and is full of many rare and important plants. Together with Wakehurst, Nymans and Borde Hill it is a member of Great Gardens of Sussex. A lovely day out would be to combine a visit to High Beeches Gardens with one of the other Great Gardens of Sussex – particularly Nymans which is also in Handcross.
During spring enjoy colour and fragrance and early summer is the time to see the beautiful wildflower meadow in full flower. High Beeches also has probably the best autumn colour in Sussex. Group visits by appointment are welcome at any time.
