The bi annual village day was a great success and well attended. The hog roast, was enjoyed by many and the profit of £150.00 has been donated to St Margaret's church

"In & Out in West Hoathly, West Sussex: the story of the Cat Inn & Queens Square & the people who lived there."
This is a brief history of the Inn and a description of the building's development from a medieval open hall house of the mid 1400's to the structure we see today.
Included are details of the inns and taverns in the past and an account of the well and well- digging. Three historic buildings close by are also described with information about previous occupants as well as anecdotes from more recent times.
There will be a special lunch available from 12 noon until 2pm, with Cottage Pie with Sussex Greens or Goats Cheese and Purple Sprouting Broccoli Tart with New Potatoes and Salad, £8.50. The book will be available for sale and to be signed by the author/s
